Downtown Soccer Toronto (DST) is Toronto's official 2SLGBTQIA+ recreational soccer league. Founded in 2004, we are a non-profit league that is volunteer-run and open to players of all skill levels and backgrounds.
Our main outdoor 11v11 season runs from May to September each year. We also run an indoor futsal and turf season during the rest of the year.
Registration Schedule
* Interested new players be sure to add yourself to Information List to receive communications about registration. See IndoorsOUT tab on this website for more information.
Priority New Member registration is open to any individual who does not identify as a cisgender male AND players that commit to half-time or more as goal keepers. Once all spots are filled, you can add yourself to a waitlist. Those on the waitlist will be offered a spot on a first-come, first-served basis. The league can not guarantee placement in the current season but will make every effort for committed registered players.
DST acknowledges the traditional keepers of the land on which we gather and play: the Mississaugas of the New Credit, Huron-Wendat, Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, Cree, and any other Nations who cared for this land (acknowledged and unacknowledged, recorded and unrecorded).
The territory was the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Iroquois Confederacy and the Ojibwe and allied nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. This territory is also covered by the Upper Canada Treaties. Today, the meeting place of Toronto (from the Haudenosaunee word Tkaronto) is still the home to many Indigenous people from across Turtle Island and we are grateful to have the opportunity to gather together and play on this territory.
